Computer Categories

I was wondering how you can categorize the vast information on computers.
If I was categorizing this information, it would be in some main categories.

I'm new to computers but I wonder what the main categories. From the scarce information I know, would it be something like this?

1)Computer Hardware
2)Computer Software
3)Networking
4)The World Wide Web(I was wondering if that includes, web programming languages, and web servers and such.)
5)Computer hardware soldering repair(Thank you Ihuser)

Actually, I know there is more but I was wondering if their is anything(there is)missing to the list or if misplaced something on the list.

What you've said is preety much it. There's advanced sections, like programming, and advanced networking that could be a hassle, but most of today's basic stuff relies on what you've mentioned.

I just have one more: Computer hardware soldering repair.

You could also add to the list maybe a section that would include subject matter like tips / reveiws / computer guides, like how to replace parts the safe and correct way.

No, actually, in a few months, I'm taking computer classes and I just thought that I should get a head start and read on some computer books. However, what useful would it be to study if I don't organize myself.
