I know this is an old thread, but where else would I go?

I am trying to overclock my BFG 6800XT agp card. I did the regedit and it now allows me to manually change the core and ram clock speed. But before it will let me stay with those settings, it wants to "test teh settings"...problem is, it never says the settings will work, only that I need to lower them and try again. I lowered them from the 350/1000 that the card comes stock with, and it still said I need to "lower" them. Anyone know anything?

I Have NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 drivers as my graphics driver. my card is 128mb which is ok with me what if i over clock it to 256? i think it will blow because mine doesn't have its own fan so personnaly, ild rather take the safe way and buy a 256mb one.

firstly, this is an old thread, secondly you cant overclock a card from 128mb to 256mb. that would just not work haha

You cannot increase the memory in the chips. It's impossible. The only way to have your card have 256MB RAM, is to unsolder and solder some 64MB DDR chips.
