TO tell you the truth though, I can't seem to hear sound difference between the Audigy and the X-Fi . My friend installed an X-Fi a couple of months ago. I thought it was a waste of money, lol.

Well my sound has gone awful. Some songs in itunes just sound horrible whereas some sound fine. It seems the more heavy metal the song is the more horrible the distortion is. I was hoping a new soundcard would help this!!!!!

Good speakers can also play a role in sound too. There are some nice Logitech Z-5500 series speakers 5.1 that will blow all the speakers away. Those make a huge difference on an Audigy ZS sound card.
