Ok so me and my friend are switching motherbaords because mine doesnt have voltage settings and his doesnt have enough IDE ports for all his drives. Since we have almost the same CPU's we figured why not. Now my question is about drivers, Do I need to unistall my old ones with some program like driver cleaner, or is it different and not that important with motherboards?

Your probably gonna have to do a repair of XP once you swap mobos as its to big of a system change and MS dont like that. It might even ask you for an activation key again (just a phone call to sort it if you have a legit copy). If these dont work then you will have to do a clean install.

You could uninstall them to be on the safe side before you do the switch, but like Raffaz said, you will probably have to re install windows again anyway
