8600's at Newegg

Of course the 8600GTS will blow my 7900gs away in DX10, but I am curious about DX9. I am thinking about getting an 8800GTS 320mb once they are a lil cheaper anyway.

Yeah definitely, the 7900GS and the 8600GTS are supposed to be about on par with each other, atleast that's what one guru3d says, not particuarly sure though. It doesn't matter, the 8600GTS is still a good buy for now for anyone whose really anxious to get their hands on a DX10 capable card. Of course the Radeon HD will be out May 14th, so it might be wise to wait and see how ATIs and Nvidias cards fare against one another.
