Building a computer checklist

What are the basic physicall parts of a computer I would need to buy and put together just to get a new computer I'm building up and running. Of the top of my head I can think of -

1. MotherBoard
2. Processor
3. Case
4. Ram
5. Sound Card
6. Video Card
7. Power supply

What else do I need to get a computer up and running?

power cable
electricity wires

case is not mandatory, though it is recommended. Also the mobo usually has an integrated sound card so you don't need to buy a separate one. (unless you want better quality, but the integrated is good for normal stuff)

fans are another item you may want
unless you go for liquid cooling

Don't forget an operating system.

and a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and printer perhaps if you don't already have these.
