Loud fans

hi guys

built my pc a few weeks ago and right from day 1 wenever i make it work a little hard it starts humming like a hoover lol. it ok if it not doin n e thing jus sittin on dekstop or even with 1 or 2 internet explorer but wen i dual screen and watch a film on extended load up second life and internet explorer and live messenger it starts making a very loud noise.

not a noise that sounds like something is broke jus something is workin too hard.

heres my rough spec if it helps

pentium D 915 processor (standard Fan & heat sink)

asus mobo

2 Gb ddr2 pc5400 corsair ram

512mb graphics card

and i think 500 W psu

i jus wonna know wot u think is causin the noise so i can replace it or spend a bit more on a quiet one

Open your case and check each fan by stopping it for a second. When the noise dies down, you know what one is causing the problem.
