I keep it charged up, but here lately when I unplug and try to use, it goes dead in about 5 minutes. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just got the computer about 3 months ago. The battery had not been in use before that, it was in storage.

hmmm just sounds too me like it crapped out on you. i just bought a laptop off my mom's boyfriend and the battery quickly dies in about 40 minutes. it says it has an hour but thats a total lie haha.

it's most probably a faulty battery, since it's still so new. If you still have it insured, you can ask for a replacement.

How much are batteries? When I unplug, it says I am at 97 percent, but then it goes down quick.

yeah the battery isnt holding a charge , as for price you will have to give us the notebook brand and model number but i have seen batteries for my laptop at £30-40
