my computer latley it does this thing where windows is running fine...
and all the sudden my hard drive will click, and it will freeze and i reset and it works fine..... ive used 2 other hard drives and got the same thing....

but the thing is, when my bios is set oem, it will run fine...
but once i change even boot order or core voltage or what not, just change one thing, and exit and save... it will not boot up.... anyone ever heard of this?

your BIOS isn't bad IMO.

make sure that your settings that you're trying to input are actually valid.

when you say OEM do you actually mean auto detect? (on a lot of boards restore to default is actually restore to auto detect).

are you trying to over clock the system and then finding it's unstable, if this is the case, try not clocking it so high.

the motherboard is a dfi lanparty.....
and it is not the setting i choose.... that was just an example......
even if i just go into the bios and enable usb keyboard and thats it... it wont load up into windows...

anytime i change the bios from anything other than a fresh reset it wont boot
cant even change my boot priority to the hd as first boot device

hmmm... sounds to me like either a motherboard or a bios problem.

what chipset is that motherboard? i'm not too familiar with the lanparty itself, but maybe the chipset.

if it is a 680 chipset then make sure you have atleast the p23 version of bios.
