Recently my msn hasn't been working. It started with the older version, when I would try to sign in, it would give me an error.
I've updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing works.

"We can not sign you in at this time. Please try again later"

The error number is 80048820.

I've troubleshooted and it just says check your firewall and stuff, and i've tried it all...no worky

And now when I go to hotmail.com it says,

"There is a problem with this website's certificate"

" Click here to close this webpage.
Continue to this website(not recommended)"

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Thanks

Answer:

I have checked the time and date time, and time again. I went through all the troubleshooting abd that was not the answer. I went to system restore and the last set restore point was for August 2007. For some reason it was wrong there, but on my desktop it was all ok.

Make sure time and date is set right.

when this problem surfaced , do you remember, say within a week or so of the event, when it first started. if you can remember, then, if it were me, i would go to my systems restore, and set it to the day you remember. if that doesn't work, try launching your internet explorer and in the address bar type http://www.msn.com if that's feasible. and then click my msn i've had problems with this, but a field tech took care of it. well i've had great results from systems restore. good luck.

oop's, when you enter that address in your internet explorer, try entering http://www.mymsn.com, i think that just might work, or systems restore.:)
