That's because it's Hollywood. The only real reason why they even use the Desert Eagle in movies is because it looks powerful and is like the God of all guns.

ive shot a .44 magnum before and that thing had some crazy kick to it...then I shot an AR-15 and there was absolutly nothing to it...

I have a stock for it, which I'm thinking of puttin gback on, but if I do that I'de need to ored a stainless steel screw kit cause the ones that are in there now are getting kinda stripped and I don't want to take it apart again...
