vga output question...

hey guys, i was looking at graphics cards and i see this very often, i see a vga output but no leads going from the vga output to the board like in this picture...

does the vga out work?? or is it just there... do any of you guys have these types of cards that look like this? im really confused if those work or not...

Yes the VGA ports they just don't put them there for show.

ok well i was just wondering, cause i dont see any leads going from the port to the board, i was very confused... lol

The leads in that particular type of VGA connector are very short and reside underneath the blue piece. If you flip the card over, you will see the tiny rows of contacts right up against the edge of the PCB.
