BF2 problem

Well, this thing started out of nowhere.

Everytime I try to launch a game, wether it be on Single Player or Multi-player, it drains my entire memory and crashes. I have no clue why is it doing that. Is this why people recommends 2GB RAM?

Ya, when I run bf2 I use about 1.17GB

I've having the same problem lately, but it was kinda random, and randomly went away after a virus and a spyware scan (both returned nothing).

well, since a virus scan help wood, i'd say give it a try. if that doesn't work, try uninstalling and re-installing the game. That is, assuimg you've tried new drivers.

I've done both checks already. Latest drivers also. It's a memory issue, that's all I can say.

yeah. I only have 1 gig, and I can usually play on medium settings. (although I have it on low becuase the mods lag so much more than bf2).

Ya, I did notice that project reality lags a lot

i can run medium on 512 and not get too bad of lag, but on my good pc i have 1 gig and have never had that problem with reality, i run it at medium
