Acquiring IP Address

In your case, you need to find the heading that specifies your wireless card. Find where it says Default Gateway .............. and next to the periods you'll want to see some numbers(192.168.0.1) If you don't, then that is why you can't get on the internet, and the problem may be with your router.

This might be of no help but with each of my computers I have had to go into my main settings for that ip provider and for it to stay on all the time with wireless, I have had to change the setting from "connect when activated" I think or something to that nature to "always on".

ok, if you have a default gateway, then try pinging from all of the computers separately:
1.) go to start menu
2.) go to run
3.) type cmd
4.) type ping http://www.google.com
What that will do, is 1. see if you're resolving to a DNS server, and 2. it will test your internet connection. If you are connected to the network but it says that you have limited or no connectivity it sounds like you might have a problem with your wep key. Make sure that the laptops that are having trouble connecting are using the proper wep security, and the right passkey. Post the results of the ping please.
