Which would you guys suggest is a better PC for gaming/photoshop/everything, and is a better investment for the months (years even) to come?

Thank you in advance!

Dude as long as you go 8800 even if you only get one 8800 it will be much better than that two card setup

intel is the way to go , at the moment they are killing everything amd is throwing at them and until amd do something drastic then they are gonna keep on getting killed

also the obvious difference the amd is dual core and the intel is quad core whichh obcioulsy means more power

Ok, so the Intel with an 8800gtx card (or 2?) instead of the Crossfire X1950's?

Ya for sure. The X1950 is only DX9.0 while the 8800GTX's are DX10. I see your getting vista home premium +1 just upgraded to that myself but Vista is the only OS compatable with DX10. Its the way of the future no sense spending that much on a DX9 card thats going to be obsolete in a year or so.

You may want to upgrade to a real soundcard as well not that onboard sound. I'd normally recommend X-FI but there drivers for vista are not that great. They work with a bit of effort though. Can't recommend anything else as far as sound i'm only familier with the X-fi Xtreme Music edition on vista.

oh yeah you are gonna want at least 1kw psu , wheree are you usa uk or elsewhere and where will you be buying from so we can show links to products
