i have a 4 pin molex power connector on my pci graphics card,,,,i have never had it plugged into my power supply before....would plugging it in be any better? will it work any better? how is it even working if i never had the power connector plugged in? does it just get it's power from being in the pci slot?

edit: nevermind...i just looked inside my case, and the power connector i saw was on the audio card, not my video card...the pci video card doesn't have one....same question though i guess...should i put the power connector on the audio card? never had it on there before.

Well...if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

But there's no harm in trying it to see if it works better.

It's there for if you have that panel thing for the front of your computer that some of the X-Fi cards come with, but are compatable with other audio cards.
