Hi,

I want to buy laptop. I found Dell Inspiron 6400 Dual core for $ 799.00 at www.direct2deal.com.

My budget is $1000. I want this laptop for professional usage. I want to use this laptop for graphical application like Corel 12, CS2, and some heavy graphical application. Plus, Games also.

well, the vid card kinda sucks. Not only is it generally bad it also uses the ram, so out of the 2gb you have 128mb will be used by the vid card. Doesn't sound too bad, untill you realise that the ddr2 ram is quite slow. (for the vid card)

Overall it's not a bad package. I wouldn't expect a great gaming experience, but other than that it looks good.

i know 1 of your 1st sentences was i want to buy a laptop but the truth is if you want some thing for heavy graphics and quality performance u shud really buy a desktop sorry probably useless advice but thats my opinion
