Alright i've got the X-Fi Xtreme Music setup with Vista Home Premium 64bit. I downloaded Creatives driver. I can't get to a option to select digital output for my speakers. I tried installing some of the software from the original X-fi disc. Everything will install but sometimes the programs lock up. I managed to get the older software with the creative console setup to come up and changed it to a digital output. I ran the test and got my speakers to work. The next day I went to use my computer I turned it on and the sound isn't working. Now it doesn't matter what options I choose I can't get the sound to work.
Anybody else have this problem or figure out a solution. Like I said I did have it working for a short time. Not sure what would cause it to mess up. Should I just uninstall all the sound components and try re installing everything?
I guess I should include that I've got a dual boot setup XP on one HD and Vista on another. X-fi works fine when I boot in XP.
