alright, so I went into the bios to look for the feature that would shut down the computer if the CPU temp got above a certain point... It didnt have that, the most it could do was give a warning...

at that time I also tried to overclock my ram using the overvoltage thing...

so I did +0.1V...

and so I rebooted and then when i did there was this sound that went like

beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

and kept the same pitch...

is this telling me i did something wrong? and how do I fix it?
 
Well usually if that beep happens it means no ram is installed, it could of damaged the ram, but I'm not completely sure.
 
well, I got it fixed... turned out it was the option to alert me when the CPU reached 60C or the fan turned off... ill find out which one triggered it later...

but thanks anyways!
