Not my dog. None of my dogs ever did that.
Odd, carpet is understandable. Hell even a door is. Because one time, Gizmo, my Old English Sheep Dog, walked into the bathroom (the door was only cracked open) and he opened it hard enough (he is still a puppy, 107lbs @ 18 months) and the door hit the door stop and because of the heavy mirror on the back it bounced back and locked him in.
He was there only for two or three hours before we got home, and he had completely destroyed the door base, well cosmetic damange, but still, and also the closet door next to it, and even started getting down to the base of the carpet.
So he did it when he was scared, (we havent ever locked him up before so he panicked I guess.
I've never seen a dog dig at tile though, that is kinda random.
