right click on their recycle bin and go to properties and tell me the path where the recycle bin file is located. mine seems to have disappeared from my desktop and i need to relocate it.

hmm none of that seemed to help but at least i think i know why it disappeared. I edited some registry values so i could rename my recycle bin. The thing that's strange though is that I had done this probably 4 months ago, now it randomly disappears?

It's a hidden / system file however

yeah i've done updates for windows

C:\Recycler. It's a system folder that has the -h (hidden) attribute.
