Chkdsk is a disk checker. You can run it by going to run (windows key + r) and typing cmd. Thes will take you to the command prompt. Then type chkdsk /f this will run checkdisk, it will run, the next time you restart your computer.
You have a few problems according to hijackthis, these need fixed.

If that doesn't work, try to install IE7. It might clear that bug out, but if it's IE7, look for an update. It rather looks like a bug than something else...unless it's a virus or spyware.

I fixed those files and the message still appears. Any other ideas?

Edit: I did the check disk thing. When I restart the computer will I get any confirmation of checking or what?

Edit 2: Upon restart the IE messages popped up about 5 times. They seem more vigorous now. Instead of just one at a time they come a few at a time, and more often. Any help to rid me of this problem completely is much appreciated and thanks to those who have offered help thus far.

It still sounds like a virus, ive never used panda AV so cant comment on it. I would run NOD32 AV instead, its the best on the market IMO. You can get it at www.eset.com. Have you ran anti spyware stuff like adaware, spysweeper, spyware doc, spybot S+D, defender etc?

On my other computer I found that spyware doctor is in and of itself, spyware. I have run spyware as it is included in panda.

try downloading NOD32. it has a free thrity day trial that is a full working version.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what to do with NOD32 and I trust Panda too much and NOD32 not enough to turn of Panda and let NOD32 run my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather do this without downloading anything, because whenever I download something for free it tends to be a mistake. Spyware Doctor, for example, is spyware.

Please help!!!
