NTLDR Boot Error.

K, im trying to install windows XP and when its almost done copying the files, it just shuts down

then when i turn it on again it says NTLDR Error on the bottom of a Black Screen of death...

Is there anything im doing wrong?

It looks like the drive has a bad sector while it's trying to do some work. I had one do that, and no matter what I did, 49%, then a file copy error, then, BSOD.

I'd check with the manufacturer's site for the diagnostic tool. I feel like giving it to you, so you can save the hard time to search. What's the drive brand?

check your cd it may be dirty or scratched and trying running chkdisk

It could also be a dirty lense in the actuall drive,try cleaning it with a CD-Lense cleaner
