Cleaning the LCD

It's really started to get on my nerves since there's these random splotches on my LCD (probably from yelling at the screen too much ) but yeah I was wondering if there are any decent household items that I can use to effectively clean my screen, I tried using water but I don't particularly like the results. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Splash some water on a smooth cloth and dry it, until it's humid. Then, clean the screen.

I have 2 clothes both are a cloth especially for glass/plastic that cleans them great! i wet one use it to wipe the screen then quickly before it dries streaky, use the other dry one to wipe it off. Works great, sometimes needs a couple of goes tho (im anal)

Dont use household cleaners tho unless ur absolutley sure theyre ok. Some can damage the screen.
