Well im getting a new computer soon, next week I hope. I do want to build it, but my parents are kinda effy about it, I would be nervouse to since I want to go with a mid-high end system, and I might screw up. Ill be getting all the computer configured with an e6400, 2GB DDR2, 250gig HD, 7300GS(ill throw it away), printer, 19" monitor, Vista, for about 1350 without tax. Now my question is should I go with the e6600 or is it the e6400 fine.

And to be future proof ill be slapping a EVGA 8800GTS 320mb, I would go with a 7900's or 7950's but they dont support DX10, so ill just spend more and be sorta future proof lol.

This monster needs a 400W PSU, but the dell comes with a 375W PSU, I read through Dell forums and people are telling the 8800GTS runs fine on the PSU the XPS 410 comes with. My question would be if i push my system hard will it cause negative effects because it needs more power.
