keep music playing when media player is closed

Ha, that happen to me one time before about a week ago. Go into Task Manager and end the sucker. Sometime, another program is somehow tied in with Media Player. I can't remember now, but I closed out of another program down in the System Tray and that was that. It never happened again. Must have just been a glitch. Memory mixup or something.

no, I just want it open, but I want the taskbar space.

Oh, you can use the Sidebar. It has media player built in so it plays from within leaving the taskbar free.
