I hate vista

i installed vista the other day and there is no drivers for my motherboard for vista yet and i need hi-speed usb for my external as well as the firewire, the motherboard is an msi via p4m890, any help is appriciated cheers guys

You could always go back to Windows XP. Vista lacks drivers for some stuff, is your motherboard older?

going back to xp isnt really an option, i only got the motherboard about a month ago so its not really that old no

You could contact the motherboard manufacturer and ask if there will be Vista drivers available in the future.

heh i had done that yesterday but they just got back to me this second and they had vista drivers on an ftp just not on the website yet thanks for the help guru its much appricated

Did you run the vista upgrade advisor tool before you installed?

heh well find out if the drivers work whenever someone gets back to me about the ftp password or if i can learn to read chinese :\
