i'd like to reformat the harddrive on my computer but the manufacturer didn't include the windows installation cd. is it still possible for me to reformat and reinstall windows? thanks

edit: would it be possible to download a pirated copy and use my key thats on the back of the computer?

1) yes, you can do a restore from the boot up option if you have a restore option at the beganing of the bios option. if you have a newer computer there should be a F10 or F2 option to get into the restore partition.

You dont have like a pc recovery that came with the PC?? Usually they come with some sort of software to set it up like new.
