I was wondering if increasing my page file allocation to 2000mb min and max might help in memory intensive games..I'm running about 1.28gb of system ram and an athlon 2800+cpu and winXP

Do u mean 128mb? or 1.28GB? although the swapfile might help a lil bit, itll still be slower as the game is having to use slow HDD, Ram is much faster, so if possible a ram upgrade will help much more than swapfile size.
