when i go to windows explorer and go to file open etc...its only a blank screen

file > open in windows explorer? I havent got that. Are you using windows explorer? Use the windows key + E to open it, then right click your drive with a CD in and click explore, see what happens then.

Ok lol, have you done what i said in post#18, you done that quickly if you have :)
 
i got lost here make sure it has fully booted (no egg timers). Now shut down and reconnect the drive, boot straight into the bios and have the bios detect the drive. Then allow it to boot to windows... lol iam going to ad you to msn :D

did the auto play fix wizard and they cant fix a problem.
