hey guys, every night around 12:58am cst, my dsl resets, not the whole modem, simply the broadband connection, i called sbc about this and they said that its probably the modem, so i ordered a new modem, just seeing if i was alone in this issue, does any of your guys's dsl reset?? if not, im gonna need ideas, if this new modem doesnt fix the problem...

I used to have my cable modem reset. They sent a cable guy out and found the signal strength was low, so they installed an amplifier and we got a new modem.

Sometimes ISP's (like mine) require your username to have @isphere.com.au...for example
username@ispname.com
I would try doing that and see what happens....Mine did it for a long while and when I rang my ISP they told me to do that and sure enough it fixed the problem...turns out the router wasn't connecting to the right connection stably enough, so it would drop out trying to search the connection
