Go to "Security" Tab and press "Default level" or "Custom level" if you want to keep your settings.
In "Custom level" go to Scripting -> Active Scripting and check "Enable" or "Promt option".
Press Ok

If you look at the download screen you see a support tab. Go there and run the remove tool first. Then download the new file and install it.
As for your behaviour, You catch more files with honey than you do with salt.
