eh some ram question

building a computer for a buddy of mine...


he has a gig of ram in this computer...he wants to dump another 2 gigs..


same mobo as mine as in my sig

but he's got 1GB dual channel with 2 512 sticks and he wants to throw in 2gb in 2 1GB sticks with that complicate anything? i never had to do this i always just got (3) 1 gb sticks...never did (2) 512's and (2) 1gb sticks
