Noob needs help with GFX card

Hey guys, have a Dimension 1100, need to find out if the PC has an AGP/PCI slot to upgrade card, believe it has integrated Intel graphics at the moment, just not sure whether it has the right bus for a new card

I think it just has a PCI slot. You could always open up the case and look to be sure. Here's a comparison of the cards, so you can figure out which slot it is by the notches:

i got the radeon 9250 and it runs pretty well if you only have pci avaible all i had was agp 1x\2x runs my RTS like i want it to on a cpu that can go to 25% usage switching web pages and 512mb sdram. i use this rule for that card if it requires more(the game) than 64mb ram then you wont be able run it(slow clocks\ram pci etc.) can overclock core to 300mhz ez

If you open up the case and look at the card slots there will be 3-5 pci slots that are white. If you have an AGP slot it will be at the top, it will be brown and slightly offset from the others.

Also how can I find out how fast the bus is? I know that it's supposed to be 16x, right?

its a pci slot. pci is 1x lol
