Wanted: Old(ish) comp parts

I agree. Unless it's broken and can't be used don't throw it out. I like to keep old stuff and expirement with it and see what happens.

yea i just keep old computer parts cuz you never know whos computer your gunna have to fix.... currently i got an old compaq ATX case lieing around, a cd drive, a p3 motherboard, a few IDE cables, and a 350 watt power supply.

It's an extension of computer resources for universities and institutes for research of cancer and other diseases. Basically they're using my computer to help find the cure for cancer. That's why it doesn't have to be a great computer, but good enough to run simple applications and networking.
