What's the current speed? (ex. 233 MHz) Either way, I doubt you'll find an upgrade for it.

There're various speeds of Pentium I's, from 60 MHz - 233 or 300 MHz.

Nah, MMX doesn't determine speed.

His is 233 mhz. He has like no money at all. he was planning to find a big bargain on ebay.

This is my opinions, but if money is hard to come buy for him, don't have him waste hist money on that PC any more. Tell him to save for something that's actually worth it. Maybe some family members have old computers that they aren't using? Just an idea.
