i have a pentuim 4 S478 slot i think thats what they are
and do they have like intel core 2 duos or pentuim d that fit in that slot?
or shouldi just get a fast pentuim 4 cuz im running 1.8 ghz and i want to upgrade

They have Celeron Ds for it, but I think that would be a waste. Celerons aren't very good.

The fastest socket 478 processor is 3.4 GHz, so that's pretty good.
