Search keywords in Firefox
For a search box you use a lot, you can create a keyword to search it. For example, wikipedia:
- Go to the wikipedia site.
- Right click the search box.
- Click "Add a keyword for this search..."
- Name it like a regular bookmark, but put the search keyword you want. For example, we'll put wiki.
- Now if you wanted to search wikipedia for CPUs, type wiki CPU in the URL bar.
- The wikipedia page for CPUs will pop up!
Pretty useful, I have one for dictionary.com, thesaurus.com, urbandictionary.com, wikipedia.org, isohunt.com, mininova.org, and piratebay.org.
