i use facebook for the same reasons. I deleted my account after I broke up with my previous g/f because almost all my friends on there were her friends but i had a few from back home that i was staying in contact with so i recreated the account. I still use it now for the most part.

Facebook FTMFW. Yeah, I still have a myspace and have a bunch of Focus forum friends from all over the place but Facebook is where everything goes down for me.
