CPU Max Temperatures

and probably some fried RAM an a fried video card.
You meant fried everything, didn't you?
Although, the airflow on the Pentium M series are also wider.

hot, very hot. I dont recommend going air cooling with it if you are going to overclock. Water is the bare minimum for an overclock.

I have heard of some pretty good overclocks with air cooling.

i overclocked 1000 MHZ with my opty 165. Ran Prime95 for an Hour Fine.

1.8 to 2.8

Stock: Voltage
Stock: Cooling
Stock: thermal paste

it maxed at 48C Under Load.

I not have it at 2.6 GHZ cuz that= FX-60 speeds and I like a cooler running processor. I would rather not have to worry about shortened life/stability issues.

Good thread though, good info

a lot of poster's responses are pretty much relying on the fact that their sensors work properly, according to my friend's cpu heat sensor his processor apparently runs at 400+ degrees celcius, and runs just fine...

Haha, is that in the BIOS, or a program in the OS?
