PC Problem

I'm having a problem, my computer when under any load for a period of time will shut off like a light switch, and i'll have to reset the surge protector to turn it back on which it will stay for 5 minutes or so then click back off. I have a fresh install of windows and the power supply and regular fan are working properly.

Its a ShuttleXPC ( cant remember the model number, Its black and silver has only 1 cd drive port, and then a floppy sized port. only buttons on front are reset and power also has mic headphone and 2 usb ports on the front ), 64bit.

If you have any ideas let me know

Get a better surge protector it sounds like under load your surge protector loses power.

PSU could be on the way out...

Yea, sounds like a bad surge protector, not a PC issue.
Unless like the guy said your PSU is shorting out.
But try a different surge protector, or just plug it straight into the wall and see the problem still happens.

Check the temperatures in that thing under load. It may be overheating.
