what have you guys heard about it?

ive heard it's going into the apple macbooks

Interesting...I don't really follow the laptop market, but it sounds like a start for DX10.

When are the core 2 quads available, thats what I want to know. Regular ones, not Extreme editions ~ $1000 etc

That one's actually pretty cheap for quad core. I like to see it come down so more though. When it first came out, they were like $1,000+.

the 6600 quad is suppost to go down 2 500 bucks really soon right after the other realse
