Massive slowdown

I have a dell computer with 128 megs ram, p4 2.4 gig, and XP. WHen I got it, it ran fine, but then something went wrong, I had to reinstall, and now it's slow as hell. Any suggestions?

I would suggest running a Reg cleaner and doing a few tweaks here , but make sure your Reg cleaner is'nt a trial one. You can also put in a few tweaks from a guide like this...

Have you installed drivers, ran windows update, defragged etc?

Did you reinstall all the drivers too? Such as the motherboard chipset drivers, video card drivers, etc.

It's a prebuilt dell. I used the recovery disk to reinstall.
