These are my computer temps, running Oracle 10g, AVG Antivirus, McAFee Firewall. Are they fine, or too hot? This is from the computer in my sig.

Motherboard 42 °C (108 °F)
CPU 42 °C (108 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 33 °C (91 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 34 °C (93 °F)
GPU 51 °C (124 °F)
Seagate ST3250620AS 38 °C (100 °F)

Sometimes I've seen the CPU at 45 C, and the HDD at 40 C, should this be a concern or no?

Thanks :)

Hmmm....I'm going by the rig in your sig, which shows a Zalman 9500 CPU cooler....I have the 4200+ and mine hovers 38c with the stock cooler and FSB at 216 (x11)....As for the hdd, the threshold, according to Seagates and WD's site, is 55c, any hotter and you risk data loss...

Yes, those temps are without and overclock, Sure, I would like to get more out of my pc, but don't know where to start... Altough, if the overclock is just for better gaming, then that's not for me, since I rarely play nowadays.

Overclocking will increase the pc's performance overall, not just for gaming....depending on how much you increase it by and how much it can handle all depends on how much better the PC will run..
