Trouble With Building Comp

I am building a computer and am having trouble with connecting the
WD Raptor 150g with an Evga Nvidia 680i Motherboard.


I can plug the HDD cable into the motherboard, but looking on the back of the WD raptor, I cannot seem to find the proper connections.


I thought it would be easier to connect because I havent seen anyone asking this question, Can someone please help?

hmm is the cable a 40 pin ide , cos raptors are sata which is a smaller usually red cable . i am hjust checking board details now but it sounds like you have an ide cable

yeah , i just looked and you only have one ide channel anyway ,

you should use a sata cable that looks like this

lol yep SATA is much faster than IDE. Not only do you have the benefit of that but the Raptor HDD you've got is gonna be kick ass. glad you got things figured out now.
