Ive never noticed any lag on mine. .CSO was mainly developed for people with small memory cards. So if your mate has a decent card >2gb then he will be fine with the .ISOs

yea well i D/L vice city stories, and it lagged alot of CSO so i decompressed it to ISO and it ran fine. i bought the game since then
