Best Optical Drive?

What is the best optical drive I can get. Trying to get the most bang for the buck and lightscribe isnt a big deal to me. What does everyone reccomend? DVD burner is a must

There will be tons of opinions on this. Pcpro magazine recommends the Samsung SH-S182D and its less than £20. I personally use LG and lite-on. Best brand IMO is plextor, but they are more expensive.

Plextors are excellent, but also expensive. LG is one of my favorites:

I myself have a few computers and each have a Pioneer DVD Writer of some sort, oldest is 4 years and not one problem with any of them, never a failed burn..but as Raffaz said, there will be a lot of opinions on this one..

I'll second the LG GSA-H42N-BK DVD burner that freestyler105 linked to. I have one of those and I think it's great. It's quiet, fast and hasn't burned a coaster yet. It's also gotten some real good reviews.

Eh, my Asus DVD burner burned out before even a year of use.
