british vs american words

I know its not a different word, but most UK people say Ter-mart-oh, instead of Ter-mate-oh which a lot of Americans seem to say.

I thought of another one, but its gone...
 
you say tomato, I say tomato, you say potato, I say potato...
or if you're bush you say potatoe...

there is a video somewhere of bush asking a kid how to spell potato, so the kid comes up writes potato on the board, and bush says now put the e on the end...


something like that, I'm fairly sure it was bush, it was probably in one of those montage videos of how stupid he is.
