Porn on school PC

That happened to me once..i when i was like 12...i was browsin web..and got some porn popups, so i closed them out...next day my dad got on my computer and in my favorites there was about 30+ porn websites..sucks bad.

In the report they said they didn't have updated software because of an unpaid vendor...

Personally, i think she'll get off. Techies have testified with her saying it could happen to anyone would cause enough probable doubt to make it illegal for a jury to convict her.

I can see the school being sued for not protecting itself better, especailly in this hi-tech, hi-pornofied society.

I honestly belive its not her fault. she just happened to have it happen at a very very bad time. I've seen this happen myself at school. But then, our server got attacked and oh boy were us guys in heaven. Could we blame any one person? no. It can happen to any active connection due to trojans, and our school is "always on". Needless to say they've beefed up their security more. Its too bad some of us students know how to use it better than the admin.

I don't think it's really her fault either. I still don't know why they didn't check to see if adware/spyware was really on the computer. Spyware isn't hard to get.

you dont even wanna know what i did to the web filter yesterday.

lol our admin's don't realize that by changing teh address in "our" hard drive provided by the server we can acess the c drive and do waht we want.

they were dumb enough to not hide the network files, or password protect them, so i'm the only student that has full admin rights.

buddy, yesterday, i messed with the local security policies and stuff and i was opening programs im not allowed to usually (they were blocked) and i did something to let me access all blocked sites (without a proxy)

File rights are far from admin rights

Anyways what files ya get into?

not sure of the name to be honest, but i can get at everything. from boot.ini to cmd to msconfig to all the network stuff (this is what i really expected to be passworded.)

but i found an exe for novell that allowed me to change my admin rights. So, keeping it hidden from teachers, i set mine to full, and as long as i don't do things to other's accounts, i'm safe.
