O yeah I saw that, what was the down side to that again sorry?

BTW, what RAM does your server take, I bet we have a stack load at college I could send over.. we have tonnes of server RAM.

The downside was that you had to install twice. But it was better than doing a standard upgrade because you forfeit your XP key when you do that. I can confirm that it definately works aswell because i done it on the laptop last night.

As for the RAM, il have to check and get back to you. Much appreciated tho. :)
 
sorry to hijack the thread but is that the server in your sig that you paid £17 for , if so that was a bargin

Yeah mate, thats the one, its in the workstation photos on the left of my desk aswell :)
 
what makes is it cos i just seen a dell server for £52, no where near £17 tho

BTW Raffaz, you thought about 2000 on your Server, would run alot nicer..

Im studying 2003 soon, so makes more sense to use that mate
